The Therianos Family Organic Olive Oil is naturally rich in polyphenols, with a particularly high content of oleocanthal and oleacein. The European Health Claim

According to EU Regulation 432/2012 (L 136/25.5.2012, p. 26), a Health Claim may only be used for olive oil that contains:

• at least 250 mg of polyphenols per 1 kg of olive oil, or

• at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g of olive oil.

Olive oil polyphenols help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 20 g of olive oil (around 1–2 tablespoons).

Recommended Use

We recommend consuming our high-phenolic olive oil every morning, 1–2 teaspoons, at least 15 - 30 minutes before breakfast, allowing the beneficial compounds to be absorbed and delivered throughout the body.
